About the role
As the Credit Risk & Operations Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining the balance of risk management and growth from our credit underwriting activities.
Our credit offering is a strategic growth driver, facilitating trade within our marketplace by offering sustainable invoice terms to business owners. As the lead of this strategic initiative, you will work closely cross-team and with leadership in managing all aspects of our Credit strategy – from refining our credit risk policies, overseeing the product developments releases and scaling our global cash collection and payment infrastructure.
Your responsibilities
- Manage our credit portfolio and execute on our merchant credit strategy, from risk assessment to payments
- Own KPIs related to credit risk and cash flow, overseeing the related day to day team operations
- Scaling up recovery efforts and Cash Collections, including managing and building relationships with new external parties and agencies
- Drive continuous improvement in our credit risk management framework and processes
- Provide credit risk expertise and frameworks to cross-team stakeholders for emerging products, commercials and markets
- Facilitate ongoing commercial decisions with analysis and insights on credit risk, collections, recoveries performance and cohort health
About you
- 4+ years experience in credit operations or underwriting, preferably serving SMBs and/or retail or merchant businesses
- Analytical and data driven – you use data to identify problems and trends, and implement solutions. You are comfortable using a variety of reporting and data analytics tools.
- Curious and creative – you spot problems, looking for the root cause solution. Able to respond to change quickly and effectively.
