Community Education Coordinator
Location: Covering Southampton and surrounding areas (including Isle of Wight). Flexible office/home work location with travel to schools and other educational venues.
Hours: Part time - 28 hours per week
Salary: £19,912 to £21,840 per annum pro rata
Driving Requirement - You must have a full valid UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle.

We are looking for a Community Education Coordinator to join our team at the British Red Cross. We need a passionate Educator to join us who wants to support their community and equip them with vital skills by delivering humanitarian education, face-to-face and virtually.
You will be managing the allocation of resources and volunteers in the area to increase the British Red Cross geographical footprint and capacity within communities.
Reporting to the Community Education Manager, you will manage community external partnerships and relationships, and support the implementation of partnerships and externally funded projects.
You will also have accountability for all aspects of the Community Education blended learning offer for your area and will ensure the education delivery is consistent and at the appropriate quality standard.

Please note that whilst the core hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, some flexibility will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.

- You've got a recognised education, training or facilitation qualification (or equivalent by experience) and excellent coaching and motivational skills
- You've got experience of recruiting, selecting, managing, and supporting volunteers
- You've got experience of facilitated learning and adapting nationally approved learning content to meet user needs
