Operating in multiple sectors, their projects spread across Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Hotel, Extra Care and Mixed-Use schemes with project values ranging from 5m- 50m.

The role

As Commercial Manager, you will work closely alongside an Operations Manager to ensure the successful delivery of new build, fit out and refurbishment projects. Typical duties will include:

• Compliance and achievement of project, procedures, personal targets and initiatives.
• Consistently promote the company values treating client relationships as our most valuable asset.
• Manage commercial activities and take overall responsibility of all commercial activities on site and ensure project targets are achieved.
• Achieve or exceed budgeted targets, maintaining a high level of commercial and financial control.
• Resolve disputes and legal matters in a timely manner.
• Ensure that capital employed, WIP and overvalue targets are maximised.
• Ensure that Forecast/CVR reports are accurately completed to reflect the current position on site and the final profit projection.
• Develop, motivate and retain surveying staff within operating team, including recruitment.
• Promote ideas and add value to each project team to maximise project results.
• Provide commercial & technical support and advice.
• Monitoring the timing and completeness of subcontract orders.
• Take ownership of key project goals.
• Oversee the complete procurement process, ensuring company systems and procedures are followed and robust orders placed once suitable tender process undertaken.
