We are on the lookout for an ambitious, results-oriented commercial leader, motivated by driving top line and bottom line growth. This individual will be an active member of the UK Leadership team with ultimate responsibility for delivery of Sales Budget and reliable Forecasting.
They will develop, implement and execute an ambitious commercial strategy whilst building and maintaining a portfolio of identified clients, asset owners, main contractors, resellers, installers, housebuilders, MMCs and Offsite companies within identified market sectors.
A confident and natural influencer, the Commercial Director will develop best in class commercial processes and coaching, developing the commercial team to maximise individual, team and business performance, improving the profitability of sales activity year on year.
Requirements:
Experience in managing a team selling products and solutions working for a manufacturer or distributor within the construction industry.
Experience working with a Group Commercial Excellence methodology
Ability to coach, supporting and motivate sales individuals to maximise their potential for career growth.
Solid relationships with clients and asset owners within the UK and experience in negotiating service level agreements and contracts.
Experience in dealing with large, high value national accounts
Sound knowledge of the key influencers within the construction industry.
Strong IT skills including the management and usage of a CRM system and other sales support tools
Full UK Driving License
Knowledge of the Gas/Water Utilities market- highly desirable
This role will require extensive UK travel but will be based out of our office in Huntingdon, Cambs
