Job Details:

• The Car New Business team are responsible for acquiring roughly 1m new car customers for Hastings each year. We are looking for a talented Analyst to work as an integral part of this team and support the growth of the business.
• You will work as an integral part of the Car New Business team, performing analyses in support of key commercial initiatives.
• You will bring together data from disparate sources, join and analyse it to generate insight.
• You will present your findings to stakeholders using verbal, written and visual means.
• You will also deliver enhancements to our existing reporting and MI in order to provide period checks on its accuracy.

Skills we would love you to have:

• Be commercially minded, able to understand the levers that make the business perform at a macro and local level.
• Have a proven analytical track record, from a numerate degree and/or prior work experience.
• Strong SQL skills with Snowflake, Python and Power BI also a plus but not necessary.
• This team is already very insurance experience heavy. We would like someone with an analytical mindset to help drive innovation.
