It’s an exciting time at Clent Hills and we can’t wait to welcome a new Clinical Director to join our amazing team! Day to day you would undertake a clinical role including surgery and consultations with a varied caseload, as well as mentor other members within the team and set clinical objectives to achieve best practice in patient and client care. You will play a crucial role in steering the business towards growth and excellence together with our senior leadership team.

Full-time role will include working 4 days – 9am to 7pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am to 5pm. No out-of-hours or bank holidays

Excellent equipment for excellent care

State-of-the-art facilities including multiple operating theatres, dental theatre, separate dog/cat kennels, and all practices use of digital and dental x-rays, in-house laboratory – Idexx machines, EPOC and Bloods gases, ultrasound, laparoscopic and endoscopy equipment. As a practice, we are very client-focused and strive to constantly excel in customer service.

We are a 3-branch and 1 rehabilitation centre small animals practice based in Worcestershire. We have a happy, forward-thinking team of 10 Vets, 17 Nurses and 12 Support Staff. We have 2 certificate holders in small animal medicine and Surgery, with another working towards feline medicine certificate.

Are you the perfect fit?

The successful candidate will have several years of small animal experience and be fully confident and competent with all common 1st opinion veterinary. Ideally, you will have had some management or Clinical Director experience (CD experience not essential), the role would be suited to an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to step up and learn the skills needed for a Clinical Director position. We have available enrolment on the IVC Evidensia Leadership Development Programme if this would be advantageous.

We are a busy practice, and some days workflow will be challenging while other days allow more time for managing the practice and private study. We require some resilience, stamina, problem-solving skills, and energy to allow the Practice to progress and move forward.
