The Opportunity
- Own category strategy for key national retailers and ecommerce partners
- Partner directly with commercial, brand, and shopper teams to build cross-functional plans
- Influence range, merchandising and innovation listings with compelling, insight-driven stories
- Lead the development of long-term growth plans, aligned with customer goals and market dynamics
- Take a leadership role, managing a Category Specialist and guiding their development
- Build trusted relationships with retailers to become a go-to partner for category expertise
What You ll Bring
- Experience in a category or insight-led role within FMCG or retail
- Deep understanding of the UK grocery and/or ecommerce landscape
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate data into strategy
- Proven stakeholder management skills confident influencing across functions and levels
- A natural collaborator with a passion for driving change and delivering growth
- Previous line management or mentoring experience is advantageous
