We are working with a construction organisation to recruit an experienced Buyer with a background in the sector.

This organisation constructs new build, sustainable, high-quality buildings, and are growing quickly with a number of exciting projects coming through.

• You will be responsible for sourcing materials, services, and subcontractors, and negotiating pricing and delivery.
• Working with project managers to identify the requirements of a project and secure the products required, right price, on time.
• You will manage ongoing relationships with suppliers, monitoring and ensuring high performance.

Requirements:

• Procurement experience gained in the construction sector, with an understanding of materials and subcontract.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of savings.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to liaise cross functionally, internally and externally.
• Strong organisation and project management skills.
