Hiring a Buyer to join our client s head office team in Stockton-on-Tees for a fixed-term 8-month role executing procurement activities in a vibrant work environment.

You will work for a premier provider of operations management, engineering services, and energy management solutions in high-hazard, highly regulated industries, who provides equal opportunities for all staff. You will report directly to the Senior Buyer/Purchasing Manager and have the following key responsibilities:

• Conducting procurement activities and managing supplier relationships
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and ISO 9001 standards
• Maintaining and utilising data management systems effectively
• Collaborating with internal teams to meet business and customer needs

You will need:

• A-level in a related field such as finance, business studies, economics, or a commercial subject
• Proven procurement experience in a fast-paced, commercial, and customer-focused environment
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Strong data management skills
