About the role
AI is starting to have a significant impact on the Life Sciences industry, an impact which will grow dramatically over the next decade and beyond.
Faculty have operated at the cutting edge of AI for the last decade, prioritising, designing, building and running AI software for customers right across the economy.
We recently started to work with Life Sciences companies, and have seen this grow quickly.
We are now looking to bring in leadership to oversee Life Sciences as a standalone business unit and accelerate its growth.
What you’ll be doing
This is a leadership position, and a rare opportunity to shape a substantial part of the business in your image.
You will be responsible for the Life Sciences Business Unit at Faculty; setting the commercial direction, building the team, developing the customer base and owning the P&L.
You will inherit a set of existing customer relationships, technology and an expert team to build from, but you will have freedom to design and implement the strategy in this sector.
This will be a hands-on role, especially in the early stages of growth where you will be involved in most of the things the team does.

The experience, skills and knowledge you bring
A strategic understanding of the Life Sciences sector, and a clear vision of where the highest impact opportunities for AI software lie.
A track record of selling and leading consulting services into the Life Sciences sector.
High levels of credibility with senior stakeholders, and a strong set of relationships in the sector.
A track record of building highly functioning teams and supporting the development of high potential people.
