Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Seaford, BN25 2EG.
Information: This role is shift work. Driver, full UK driving licence, is desired not essential
What do our Support Workers do?
Supporting someone isn't just personal care; it's so much more.
Maldon House is a residential service for adults with autism spectrum conditions, moderate to severe learning disabilities, complex needs including behaviours that may challenge, emotional needs, complex health needs and epilepsy.
Individuals at Maldon House enjoy going to the cinema and theatre, bowling, swimming, crazy golf and visiting the Bluebell Railway for trips on the steam trains. At Maldon House itself the garden is used for relaxation and physical activities such as trampolining, garden games and socialising. There is a sensory cabin housing a full range of sensory equipment that is used for relaxation and aromatherapy
What experience do you need?
You don't need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
You'll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
