Position: Area Cleaning / Mobilisation Manager
Salary: £25,000 per annum + company car, fuel card, laptop, mobile phone
Location: Covering Sites in Coventry and surrounding area, ideal candidates will be based in this area
Contract: 3-month fixed term contract but with good potential to turn permanent
Our client is a leading multi service provider in the UK Facilities sector.
They are looking to recruit an Area Cleaning / Mobilisation Manager to be responsible for the mobilisation of a new cleaning contract with a national supermarket retailer, covering stores in the Coventry and surrounding regions.
The Area Cleaning / Mobilisation Manager will be responsible for getting Retail Supermarket Stores ready for our client taking over the cleaning contact.
The Area Cleaning / Mobilisation Manager will be visiting the stores within their region and checking the cleaning standards within each store.
Carry out checks on all cleaning materials and cleaning equipment within each store and highlighting any issues to the Project Manager.
Carry out consultations with current cleaning staff reviewing their roles and discussing with them the new systems that will be introduced.
Develop / maintain strong relationships with the Retail Supermarket Managers through regular contact.
The recruitment and interviewing of new cleaning staff in areas where staff are not going to be TUPED across.
Coaching of new and existing cleaning staff in the stores.
Candidates background & experience: -
- Multi-Site Cleaning management experience
- Cleaning background in food retail or similar environment
- Any experience in TUPE or mobilisation would be ideal but not essential
- Used to carrying out interviews / recruitment of cleaning staff
- Team player
- Good communicator
- Good coaching / training skills
- Results driven
- Proficient in IT in the use of Excel, Word & Email
This role is initially on a fixed term 3-month contract with good potential to turn permanent.
Role is working 40 hours a week, 5 days out of 7, so will involve working some weekend shifts.
Candidates need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and for a very demanding client.
This role would suit a Cleaning Site Manager who is looking for the next step into a multi-site cleaning manager role or someone already in a multi-site cleaning management role.
Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence and live in / around the Coventry area and be prepared to travel daily throughout the region.
