Account BrokerTewkesbury£25-£40k dep on expExcellent company with great benefits!Knowledge on Professional Indemnity preferredThis is a growing team and the immediate priority is a role for entry level in delegated authority underwriting but we will also consider someone with more experience.PURPOSE OF ROLETo maintain and retain an existing book of business specific to the Recruitment Sector. This book of business is a bespoke and specialist Delegated Authority scheme underwritten by Zurich. The role will be hybrid and consider some broking, underwriting and account handling across Retail and Wholesale Distribution Channels. The expectation is to not only assist with retention but to contribute to the growth of this specialist book. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Pursue retention levels that meet and hopefully exceed target and contribute effectively to new business attachmentsUnderwrite according to strategy and guidance through risk identification and evaluationDocument and maintain quality files that accurately demonstrate underwriting rationaleIdentify cross sell opportunities via underwriting review where appropriateTo possess strong knowledge of wider commercial insurance products and place business with a range of insurers identifying qualities including cover, security, reputation, and claims serviceTo work closely with the appointed account executive assisting in running that book of business and managing requirements of those customersResponse to enquiries from clients, brokers and prospects in a helpful and professional manner, ensuring accuracy of advice at times and within service standardsIn conjunction with colleagues, where necessary and appropriate leads renewal and new business negotiation and provide relevant documents for discussion with clientsExhibit behaviours, knowledge and confidence re: insurance to staffing sector business as well as commercial business within the account executive’s allocationHOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL Maintain effective and compliant client and broker recordsAchieve and strive to exceed financial targets and support the group activitiesEffective use of software including Acturis and third-party websites including those for e-trading and managing finance agreementsAchievement of objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets Completion of mandatory training and CPD Feedback from customers, stakeholders, and colleagues WHAT YOU’LL NEEDMinimum 2 years commercial account handler experienceSkills, Knowledge and Aptitude Knowledge on Professional Indemnity (Preferred) The principles, practices and legalities of all major classes of General Insurance The UK General Insurance market in respect of Commercial InsurancesThe FCA regulatory framework and compliance aspects Qualifications and Training Cert CII or working towardsOther • Ability to drive and have access to a car for travel (preferred) Please contact Cat at i2i Recruitment for further informatiion
